Jill Short Milne arrives with over 25 years of experience in Marketing, Fundraising and Events, including positions at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. As a volunteer, she has contributed hundreds of hours to Tahoe-area non profits, including serving on the board of The Shane McConkey Foundation. Jill will support the SVSMF team through planning, marketing and fundraising. The project timeline is roughly 5 years and will provide the community with a State-of-the-Art Museum in Squaw Valley Park. This preliminary work will be supported by a $125,000 development matching grant from the Placer County Board of Supervisors. The Museum will honor the 1960 Olympics and the Sierra Nevada Skiers, Snowboarders and Ski-area pioneers who have influenced western winter sports since the California gold rush, including the 10th Mountain Division. Jill has been a local in this community for over 15 years and hopes to inspire many generations to experience the wonder and passion that our unique mountain spirit has to offer!
